The Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) offers free and low-cost information, special COVID-19 resources, management counseling and educational services to Indiana small business owners and potential entrepreneurs at Many of Indiana’s communities and chambers of commerce also foster entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as the state’s network of coworking spaces.

I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a number of years and after being laid off unexpectedly in 2015 I decided to try something different and invested my severance check into starting my own business. The Indiana Small Business Development Center is an incredible free resource, and they were instrumental in helping me navigate a path to success—from understanding the importance of developing a solid business plan to making projections and connecting me with various resources. I still connect with them regularly and I’m grateful that they have gone above and beyond to help my business thrive.
